Blossom partners choosing to invest in Enterprise Development, Supplier Development, Socio Economic Development and jobs to obtain the necessary BEE points can invest in the following:

A M&E framework including monthly reports and regular project reviews and a post completion project review all support BEE Audit requirements to ensure that partners obtain full value and points for their spend. Post project impact reports produced by Blossom also measure project impact looking at direct contribution to local GDP, direct and indirect jobs created and number of pads sold and distributed locally.

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

There are a number of ways that partners can support the work we do on Blossom - 

We are a Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE) as defined by the B-BBEE codes – this means that we can
partner with corporates on Enterprise and Supplier Development (ESD) as well as Socio Economic
Development (SED).

For ESD we work with our partners to identify best uses for the spend available within the Blossom model.
Partners have funded raw materials, vehicles, solar systems for factories, machinery and equipment as well as
office furniture and IT equipment using ESD spend.

SED spend is allocated exclusively to our free pad program. Partners use SED spend to buy sanitary
pads from us and we supply these into schools on a monthly basis. To comply with the B-BBEE codes, the
beneficiaries of this spend are all previously disadvantaged individuals, and we also provide to partners with
affidavits and letters of appreciation from beneficiary schools.

As part of our SED program we also support a number of charities, NPO’s and Public Benefit Organisations
with free pads, as long as these beneficiaries can be defined as pre-viously disadvantaged. To support this
type of CSI work we do, we are also able to recieve donations from NPO’s and other organisations to
continue supporting these entities.

Anyone can partner with Blossom –

  • We can design campaigns using our digital and other available platforms to maximise impact, awareness and return on investment for our partners;
  • For campaigns that focus on raising funds to purchase pads, at the end of the campaign, Blossom reconciles the funding raised and allocates all of this to sanitary pads for beneficiary organisations;
  • Each campaign is managed through a dedicated business development and marketing team at Blossom that assures our partners of high quality execution.
